Adele Beats Katy B To Continue Record Breaking Chart Reign

Surprise surprise, Adele remains top of the album charts for the eleventh week in a row.

‘21’ now holds the record for the most consecutive weeks at Number 1 for a solo artist’s studio album, holding off Katy B’s debut ‘On A Mission’ which entered at Number 2.

Elsewhere Glasvegas entered at Number 10 with their second album ‘EUPHORIC ///HEARTBREAK', The Pigeon Detectives made Number 30 with ‘Up Guards And At ‘Em’ while The Kills hit Number 40 with latest full length ‘Blood Pressures’.

Adele’s debut album ‘19’ remains encamped at Number 3, with Elbow’s ‘Build A Rocket Boys!’ staying in the top ten at Number 9.
