Adele might be releasing her first new single this Friday, album out 20th November

Nick Grimshaw dropped some pretty clanging hints on his BBC Radio 1 this morning, suggesting that he’ll be giving Adele’s comeback single its first play on Friday (23rd October), along with an interview.

Stopping short of complete confirmation, Grimmy played Adele’s Bond theme ‘Skyfall,’ and then read out a message from an ‘anonymous’ listener, whose details they conveniently couldn’t find. “Grimmy, please say that your guest on Friday is Adele, and that you are playing a world premiere of her new track. Can you imagine,” he hinted. “Could you imagine,” joined in his co-host Adele Roberts, adding that they’d ‘never’ pull it off.

Elsewhere in the show, Grimmy announced that his special guest next Friday (30th October) will be Justin Bieber.
