Adele new album and tour announcement denied

Reports earlier today of Adele’s confirmation of a new album and tour have been refuted.

According to Billboard, Beggars Group chairman Martin Mills has revealed there is “no truth in this”.

The claims came from a tweet from the World Music Awards’ official twitter account yesterday, which claimed “#Adele confirms 2015 Tour After The Release Of Her New Album ’25!’”

The album is still expected to drop later this year with that title, following a tweet from the artist back in May, where on her birthday she posted “Bye bye 25… See you again later in the year x.”
