Adele tops list of highest-selling UK albums of the decade so far

Giving further proof that she honestly doesn’t need to be in too much of a rush to release a follow-up, Adele has topped a list of the biggest-selling UK albums of the decade so far.

2011’s ’21’ LP sold has over four million copies, almost twice as much as the second highest-selling album, Take That’s ‘Progress’.

Michael Buble’s 2011 Christmas LP, Emeli Sande’s ‘Our Version Of Events’ debut and the most-recent entry, Ed Sheeran’s ‘X’, complete the top five.

Other notable albums include George Ezra’s ‘Wanted On Voyage’ (#25), Lana Del Rey’s ‘Born To Die’ debut (#27) and Kings of Leon’s ‘Come Around Sundown’ (#33).
