Listen:
Adult Jazz up the weirdness on new ‘Eggshell’ track
Taken from new album ‘Earrings Off!’, everything’s taking an utterly bonkers new direction in Camp Adult Jazz.

There aren’t many opening gambits quite like “I stuff my courage with a sock”, but then there aren’t many tracks quite like ‘Eggshell’, Adult Jazz’s newest delve into the daft.
Where their fascinating debut ‘Gist Is’ presented them as treading a path all of their own, ‘Eggshell’ tears up every paving slab and melts it down. Warped, gloopy electronics frame a vocal that’s shifted in every direction at once, at once choral and chaotic. Impossible to digest without a full box of Rennies to hand it’s an utterly bonkers dive into completely unknown pastures.
The lead track from the band’s new record ‘Earring Off!’, due May 20th on new home Tri Angle, ‘Eggshell’ comes accompanied by a suitably mind-bending new visual. Stream it below ‘Earrings Off!’’s tracklisting.
1. Earrings Off!
2. (Cry for Time Off)
3. Eggshell
4. (Cry for Coherence)
5. Pumped From Above
6. Ooh Ah Eh
7. (Cry for Home)
