Albert Hammond Jr. unveils UK touring plans

The Strokes guitarist will celebrate the release of his new solo album with the tour this November.

Albert Hammond Jr. may have only just made a trip to the UK but it looks like he’s already planning his next: The Strokes guitarist has confirmed plans for a full solo tour later this year.

To help celebrate the release of his new solo album ‘Momentary Masters’, which gets released on 31st July via Cult Records, the guitarist will be returning to our shores this November, to play nine shows.

He’ll be making stops in Oxford, Manchester, Leicester, Glasgow and Bristol along the way, before culminating the tour with a set at the Old Market in Brighton.

His upcoming tour dates are as follows.

16 Oxford, O2 Academy 2
17 Manchester, Gorilla
19 Birmingham, Hare and Hounds
20 Leicester, O2 Academy 2
21 Glasgow, CCA
23 Portsmouth, Wedgewood Rooms
24 Bristol, Fleece
25 London, Islington Assembly Hall
26 Brighton, Old Market

Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday (26th June) at 9am.
