Alex Lahey plays ‘Lotto In Reverse’ on her new track
It’s about taking risks that don’t always pay off.
Last month, Aussie wonder Alex Lahey announced that her debut album ‘I Love You Like A Brother’ would be out on 6th October via Dead Oceans, promising even more riotous, fuzzed-up and witty gems.
Now she’s playing ‘Lotto In Reverse’ on her latest track from the album, and on it she tells a tale of throwing caution to the wind and taking risks that don’t always pay off. In the track she’s speaking about a relationship that doesn’t really end too well, but perhaps she’s also paid for one too many scratch cards that look like winners and then give you a cherry at the last second…
Alex will be heading on a big European tour later this year and as part of it, she’ll be heading to the UK in November, with dates in London, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow. Tickets are on sale now.
