So, er, this was a thing that happened.
In a random post on their Twitter account (at 7am no less), Smash Mouth decided to give a shoutout to Aussie singer-songwriter Alex Lahey. They said: “If you don’t know,…. @AlexLahey”. Yep, that was it. Clearly “someBODY once told” them that she’s an ‘All Star’ (and we’d agree).

In, er, more serious Alex Lahey news, she’s gearing up to release her debut album ‘I Love You Like A Brother’, which is being released on 6th October. She’s also heading on a UK tour, which includes dates in London, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester and Glasgow. Tickets are on sale now.
