Alt-J bed cats into a beanbag for ‘Every Other Freckle’ video

It’s good to see Alt-J giving due respect to the absolute best lyrics of the year in their new ‘Every Other Freckle’ video. Two videos for the price of one, as it happens. “I want to bed into you like a cat beds into a beanbag” is given the proper visual treatment (a cat’s thrown into a beanbag, that’s about it) and the now infamous crisp packet gets a cheeky mention.

There’s also the inclusion of a barbaric caveman, a girl (presumably Eve) carrying apples through a forest, a guy (Adam, right?) wielding an axe and running through the same forest, giant horses rushing in a stampede, and plenty of close-ups of said cat.

Plus dogs. Dogs are in there too.

Alt-J are the coverstars of this month’s DIY - the new issue is out tomorrow (5th September) and available to read online from the same day at 12pm.
