Alt-J hit top five in US charts with new album, announce Madison Square Garden show
‘This Is All Yours’ is currently #1 in the UK album charts.
Alt-J’s chart success continued yesterday when they entered the US Billboard charts at #4 with their second album ‘This Is All Yours’, days on from scoring the top spot in the UK album charts.
Celebrating the news, Alt-J have announced a show at New York’s legendary Madison Square Garden. The gig takes place on 30th March 2015.
Following the UK number one, speaking to the Official Charts Company, Alt-J’s Gus Unger-Hamilton said “We’re over the moon to see our album at number one. It was never something we thought we’d achieve, but it’s our fans who have put us there so we owe this to them.”.
Alt-J have just finished a massive UK and Ireland tour which saw them headline Alexandra Palace in London. They headline the O2 Arena next January (24th).
