Alt-J, Kylie Minogue, London Grammar set for Melt! Festival
Germany’s ‘city of iron’ also hosts La Roux, Kwabs and Jon Hopkins
The first wave of acts for this year’s Melt! Festival have been announced, with London Grammar, Kylie Minogue and recent DIY coverstars Alt-J topping the first batch of names.
Alt-J, who headline the O2 Arena with support from Wolf Alice and Gengahr this coming Saturday, were amongst a host of names revealed this morning for the event that will take place from 17-19 July in Ferropolis, the ‘city of iron’, located an hour from Berlin, Germany.
DIY’s Class of 2015 is well represented too, with appearances from Kwabs and Shura confirmed.
Flume, Jon Hopkins, La Roux and Nils Frahm are amongst other names set to appear, while Modeselektor will once again curate the Melt!selektor beach stage, featuring performances from SOHPIE and Bonobo (DJ-set).
