This morning, The Daily Star went and reported that not only are Queen apparently headlining one of the evenings at this year’s Sonisphere Festival, but American Idol winner Adam Lambert will be standing in for the late, great Freddie Mercury.
The singer performed with original members Brian May and Roger Taylor at MTV’s EMAs in Belfast last November, and now, the paper are reporting that the group will take to the stage again.
At this present time, this rumour remains unconfirmed, and Sonisphere have made no official announcement in regards to the headliners of this year’s festival.
But hey, looks like it could be an interesting one? We’ll see!
