Andrew Hung announces new solo album ‘Deliverance’
He has also shared the album’s lead single ‘Ocean Mouth’.
Andrew Hung has announced details of his new album. ‘Deliverance’ will be released on 11th August via Lex Records.
Alongside the news, he has also shared the first single from the project – watch the video for ‘Ocean Mouth’ below.
‘Deliverance’ will be Hung’s third solo album, after 2017’s ‘Realisationship’ and ‘Devastations’ in 2021.
Hung first rose to prominence as one half of the experimental Bristol group Fuck Buttons, who were together from 2004 to 2015 and released three studio albums.
Hung has written, performed, produced and mixed the entirety of ’Deliverance’ himself. Speaking about the album, he has said, “I’ve never really felt part of any particular tribe, yet I know it exists because belonging is a deeply ingrained need. The name of the album Deliverance alludes to this; I have finally found my tribe and I am finally delivered.”
