Up-and-coming MC Angel Haze has collaborated with Lunice - one half of the production supergroup TNGHT - for a new song called ‘Gimme That’.
The song came together as part of Adidas and Yours Truly’s ‘Songs From Scratch’ series, a collection of videos documenting the song recording process literally from scratch, and have previously featured the likes of Danny Brown and Joey Bada$$. In this clip we get an insight into the types of producers Angel Haze likes to work with and how she goes about writing her rhymes, as well as the way Lunice likes to build his instrumentals. It’s a fascinating insight into the recording process that is of interest to musicians and non-musicians alike.
