Aphex Twin shares 21-tracks of new, Modular-built material, plus rare demos

Hear the scattered depths of Richard D. James’ songwriting process.

Following the claim that his son’s been making wobbly, bonkers electronic music for some time, Richard D. James is sharing another slightly dubious Aphex Twin exclusive.

The release of new album ‘Syro’ has been followed with a multi-part ‘Syrobonkers’ interview alongside close friend and blogger Dave Noyze. So far, the chat’s thrown up intense conversation about tech wizard, plus the odd unheard gem.

This week, Aphex Twin’s used the interview as a platform to share 21 tracks’ worth of new material, built from Modular-based experiments. These songs were completed an odd 20 years ago - all available to hear below.

Elsewhere, amongst outtakes from a performance at London Barbican, he’s unveiled a demo take of ‘Syro’’s ‘CIRCLONT6A [141.98][syrobonkus mix]‘.

Everything’s available to listen to here. Listen below.
