Arcade Fire, Karen O and Fiona Apple all grace the 2013 Academy Award long list for Best Original Song.
They appear alongside the likes of Adele, The Black Keys, Katy Perry and Mumford & Sons, who are just some of the seventy five artists being touted for nominations.
Arcade Fire could be nominated for their Hunger Games’ contribution ‘Abraham’s Daughter’, whilst the Yeah Yeah Yeahs front woman donated ‘Strange Love’ to Frankenweenie’s soundtrack and Fiona Apple teamed up with this ‘This Is 40’ for ‘Dull Tool’.
The full shortlist of nominees is set to be announced on 10th January, before the Oscars themselves take place on the 24th of the same month.
