Earlier in the week, big old teases Arcade Fire finally gave us the proper tracklisting for their new album ‘Everything Now’, after originally asking fans to work out some pesky anagrams.

What else have they been teasing recently? Well, another brand new track. Okay, it wasn’t quite as out-there as the Ritalin-infused cereal advert they used to trail ‘Creature Comfort’, but Win, Regine and co have nevertheless been hinting at the tune’s arrival throughout the week.

They’ve now shared the studio version of ‘Signs of Life’, a track that they originally aired live at Scunthorpe’s Baths Hall back in May. It kicks off with police sirens but soon morphs into a full-on disco-funk stomper with sax, handclaps and a bit of pulsating bass.

There’s also a video which follows two investigators on their (admittedly slick) mission to discover some, er, signs of life.

Watch the clip for ‘Signs of Life’ - which also features the band having a little boogie in some very shiny suits - below.
