Arcade Fire To Ask Fans To Dress Up For Arena Tour
Formal/fancy dress code is set to apply across 2014 dates.

The ‘dress smart or go home’ policy of Arcade Fire’s is actually a little exaggerated. The same ‘Please wear formal attire or costume’ specifics that applied to the band’s ‘The Reflektors’ shows are set to be used during their bigger, 2014 world tour.
When the formal/fancy dress code played out during the band’s London Roundhouse date, people who hadn’t made the effort weren’t exactly being thrown out. Masks were on the door, costumes too. A fair few punters waltzed in wearing jeans and a white t-shirt, which is in itself less effort than the average person makes for the average gig. Maybe it was a statement. Regardless, nobody was stopped from watching one of the biggest bands on the planet.
This is still likely to cause a fuss, either way. It’s a hot topic, whether Arcade Fire should be asking fans to make a special effort when they’ve already paid for a ticket.
Remaining tickets for the ‘Reflektor’ tour are available here, with more to be announced.
