Arcade Fire to begin work on fifth album after Hyde Park show

Band’s follow-up to ‘Reflektor’ has its forming parts, according to Win Butler.

Arcade Fire are set to begin work on their fifth album following this week’s Hyde Park gig in London.

With the show taking place on 3rd July, frontman Win Butler says he’s beginning to form the parts for the follow-up to 2013’s ‘Relfektor’.

Speaking to NME at Glastonbury 2014 around their headline set, he said: “”We’re in a position now where we can have an idea and the people around us to make it happen. It starts when you get off the road. If I ever feel bored now, it’s the best feeling in the world, because I know that’s when the next idea is going to come into my brain and it will start again.”

Tonight, Arcade Fire DJ London’s Shacklewell Arms under the moniker Windows 98, with tickets priced at £5.
