Arcade Fire Unveil ‘Reflektor’ Album Art

With the new Arcade Fire ‘Reflektor’ single being available already for those lucky enough to pass 9pm in their respective time zones, a few more details about the band’s new album are beginning to emerge.

First up is the album art for ‘Reflektor’ (that’s also the title of the album, according to iTunes / ArcadeFiretube).

‘Reflektor”s artwork portrays the Greek legend of Eurydice and Orpheus. In layman’s terms, the former gets bitten by a snake and goes straight to Hades, the latter was the son of Apollo, who was sort of the God of music. Consequence of Sound has a full breakdown of the myth here.

The album looks set to be backed by 12 other tracks, the titles of which are yet to be unveiled.

A new trailer’s also emerged for the album, featuring footage from Arcade Fire’s second home, Haiti:
