Arcade Fire’s Win Butler produces his own brand of coffee

Arcade Fire’s longstanding love for Haiti continues. As part of a new scheme, frontman Win Butler has commissioned his own brand of coffee - RaRa. All proceeds from the La Colombe brand will go to health and agriculture initiatives in the country where it’s grown - Haiti.

The coffee is produced in Philadelphia, and it’s available to pre-order from the La Colombe shop, priced from $15.

Speaking about RaRa, Win Butler said: “Being in the mountains of Haiti, it is hard not to think about coffee. The elevation, the sunshine, the soil, and incredible people, who have been growing the plant on tiny family plots for centuries. Haiti is buzzing with potential and possibility, and coffee can be an important part of its rebirth.”

All proceeds go to the Partners In Health and Haiti Coffee Academy charities.

Previously, James Murphy got in on the act with his own celeb-endorsed coffee brand.
