Are My Chemical Romance teasing a UK announcement?

It’s officially 2020, My Chemical Romance have played their first live show together as a band in seven years, and now, it looks as though they’re teasing another new announcement…

The band, who made their first live appearance together right before Christmas in Los Angeles, took to their social media yesterday to post a rather cryptic photo - a hooded, masked man - alongside one very important emoji: a British flag.

Could this mean that the UK are in for a special announcement very soon? We’re crossing our fingers and hoping so! Stayed tuned, killjoys…

See their most recent post below.

The band already have a handful of shows scheduled for March 2020 - check those out below.

20 Melbourne Showgrounds, Melbourne, Australia
21 Parramatta Park, Sydney, Australia
25 The Outer Fields at Western Springs, Auckland, New Zealand
28 Intex Osaka, Osaka, Japan
29 Download Festival, Tokyo, Japan

MCR have posted a cryptic video to their Instagram with loads of flashing images. According to the MCR Reddit (which we have now been refreshing manically), the signs correspond with an ancient alphabet that spells out June, so clear out June in your diaries UK MCR fans!

There also seems to be some relation to witches but we’d be lying if we said we had any real fucking clue…

Another day, another image that makes us stare at our phones thinking “wtf is going on?”. Sharing a new pic of what looks like a body under a sheet in a hospital, the fan theories seem to think it’s alluding to The Black Parade tour where Gerard was wheeled out on a hospital gurney wearing hospital garms back in 2007-2008.

There’s also a vampire emoji. But what does it all mean?? Spoiler: WE DON’T KNOW.

Alexa, play ‘I’m Not Okay’…
