Arlo Parks surrenders to the dance floor in video for new track ‘Get Go’

She’s said her latest album preview “perfectly encapsulates the sense of melancholy euphoria at the centre of the record.”

Arlo Parks teases 'Ambiguous Desire' with new dancefloor-inspired single 'Get Go'

Arlo Parks has offered up ‘Get Go’, a new single that amps up anticipation for her upcoming third album ‘Ambiguous Desire’ (due out on 3rd April via Transgressive Records) by way of pirate radio-indebted breakbeats and soft-focus, dreamy vocals.

It follows ‘2SIDED’ and ‘Heaven’ to be the third track lifted from the record, and comes accompanied by a video that perfectly captures the technicolour haze of fully allowing yourself to be enraptured by escapism.

As DIY’s cover star herself puts it: “‘Get Go’ perfectly encapsulates the sense of melancholy euphoria at the centre of the record. It’s about the dancefloor as a means of healing, understanding yourself and discovering your relationship to love.”

You can check out the video for ‘Get Go’ and find out more about our Arlo Parks-covering latest print mag down below.
