Arlo Parks embraces city nightscape in video for new track ‘Heaven’
The bassline-led cut was inspired by a DJ set from Kelly Lee Owens.

Arlo Parks has offered up another taste of what to expect from her forthcoming third album ‘Ambiguous Desire’ (due out on 3rd April via Transgressive Records) - the appropriately-titled ‘Heaven’.
An evocative, atmospheric track centred around a pulsing bassline and Arlo’s signature honeyed vocals, it follows ‘2SIDED’ to be the LP’s second single, and captures the feeling of a night out you wish could go on forever. Drawing on her own experiences dancing to an LA set by friend and DJ Kelly Lee Owens, Arlo has said that “‘Heaven’ is about euphoria, community and staying present.”
Continuing, she explains: “Being in a room full of strangers sweating, connecting, losing and finding themselves is a kind of magic that’s beyond language. This song was my attempt at capturing that feeling.”
You can find out more about Arlo’s club-influenced new era and watch the immersive video for ‘Heaven’ below.
