Baby Strange and Laurie Vincent give an ode to the A&R man on ‘Play Me’

The new single is taken from the band’s upcoming 6-track collection ‘Extended Play’.

Last year, Glasgow’s Baby Strange released their excellent debut album ‘Want It Need It’. They’re following it up with a new 6-track EP, suitably titled ‘Extended Play’, which comes out later this year on Glasgow label Public.
The new release is being previewed by a brilliant and pretty absurd first single, ‘Play Me’. Laurie Vincent of Slaves features as a typical, swaggering A&R man.
“Glasgow is so hot right now!” the guitarist yelps, and ‘Play Me’ is a chaotic, dark trip through blackened punk.
