Tenement Trail announce The Magic Gang, Baby Strange, Sea Girls and more
This comes with the news that the festival will move to the East End of Glasgow.
With new organisers, new music festival Tenement Trail are heading to the East End of Glasgow, taking over some of the most iconic live music venues in the country for its seventh edition.
Involving a converted church, internationally-famed ballroom and street art backyard, this October is set to be the biggest Tenement Trail yet.
Today, they’ve announced a whole load of acts in anticipation for the event, such as Fatherson, The Magic Gang, Baby Strange, Sea Girls, VIDA, Apre, Beta Waves, Calva Louise, EUT, Freakwave, Kitti, Lazy Day, Leif Erikson, Luna The Professor, Oscar Lang, Quiche, Ruthanne, ST.MARTiiNS, The Plastic Youth, Tongue Trap, Vlure and ZuZu.
Venues included in the event are The Barrowlands, St Luke’s, The Winged Ox Bar, BAaD, The Backyard with more to be announced.
Speaking about the lineup, the festival founder Chae Houston said: “The TENEMENT TRAIL team have been working hard to create a line-up that will excite fans of both TENEMENT TRAIL and new music. We have a brilliant mix of touring and local talent in there and to see a local band like Fatherson top the bill after they smashed their headline show at the Academy at the weekend is amazing.”
Last year’s event sold-out, with acts such as The Cribs, Yonaka, The Van T’s and more on the bill.
