Badly Drawn Boy, Cherry Ghost For Ramsbottom Festival
The event takes place near Manchester this September.
What we really need, right, is more festivals? Well, evidently so, with the announcement of ‘the North West’s newest boutique festival’ , Ramsbottom.
Nestled in the West Pennine Moors twelve miles from Manchester, the festival claims to bring together ‘some of the most exciting musicians’ to ‘a stunning riverside location’. Confirmed acts to date include Cherry Ghost and Badly Drawn Boy.
Ramsbottom is a partnership between three local organisations; The Met, Don’t Panic Event Management and Ramsbottomonline.com. Festival organiser and Director of The Met, David Agnew says: “We felt that Ramsbottom was the perfect location for a new and vibrant Festival for music lovers to enjoy a relaxed, picturesque and laid-back environment. Ramsbottom is an amazing location and the cricket ground offers a festival venue second to none.”
“The calibre and mix of artists we’ve already secured is incredible and unique to Ramsbottom Festival - we’re looking forward to announcing some very exciting additions shortly.”
Ramsbottom takes place between September 16-18. More details are available at ramsbottomfestival.com/
