Basement Jaxx reveal spacey video for ‘Rock This Road’

In typically bonkers form, Basement Jaxx’s latest music video for ‘Rock This Road’ features guest artist Shakka as Lord Marqod, Interstellar God Of Dance, on a quest to harness the dance energy of humans on Earth.

As the clip goes on, it soon becomes clear that actually, us humans are a bit naff on the dancefloor, and we get well and truly schooled by the visiting aliens. Then there’s a ‘dance overload’, in which everyone dies because they’ve danced too much. Or something. To be honest, it’s all a bit daft - not quite creepy enough to take the ‘completely batshit’ crown off that Bastille video from the other week, but it makes a damn good go of it.
