Basement Jaxx to headline this year’s Truck Festival

Slaves, Rae Morris, Pulled Apart By Horses and Honeyblood are all also set to appear.

Hold onto your head: Basement Jaxx have been announced as this year’s headliners for Truck Festival.

The band have been confirmed to close proceedings at the event, and are set to perform at the Oxford weekender alongside the likes of Peter Hook & The Light, Slaves and Rae Morris.

“We’re really excited to be at Truck this year,” the band’s Felix Buxton has said, of their appearance. “It seems like a good vibe and we’re bringing a truck load of energy and good vibrations with us - It’s gonna be explosive cosmic chemistry!”

Other acts revealed in the festival’s first announcement include Pulled Apart by Horses, Honeyblood, Saint Raymond, Jaws, The Amazing Snakeheads, Baby Godzilla, Blaenavon, King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys and ODC Drumline with more artists set to be confirmed later.

This year’s Truck Festival will take place at Hill Farm, Steventon on 17th and 18th July. Weekend tickets are currently priced at £79.50 and are available from Truck’s official website.
