Bass Drum of Death announce new album, stream ‘Left For Dead’

From the get-go, it’s clear John Barrett’s upped the amplifier dial and the anti on his Bass Drum of Death project.

Linking up with drummer Len Clark (now a full-time member), he’s set to release third album ‘Rip This’ via Innovative Leisure on 6th October. Produced by Unknown Mortal Orchestra bassist Jacob Portrait in California, it’s a record being led by the relentlessly charged ‘Left For Dead’.

A side-splitting, self-destructing number, the track spans three minutes and shreds for the entirety. Barrett barks his way through a bolshy routine, with disgusting guitar licks pouring in from all sides.

The new album follows on from a self-titled LP which came out in 2013.
