Bastille to play Shelter benefit show at London’s Bush Hall
They’ll do a stripped-back headline set along with a bunch of special guests.
Bastille are to headline a benefit show at London’s Bush Hall on 27th June, where they’ll play a stripped-back set. The night is being held to raise money for Shelter; a charity which provides advice, legal guidance and support to people facing homelessness, and regularly campaigns around housing issues.
Olugbenga - the solo project of Metronomy’s bassist Olugbenga Adeleka -and an all-acoustic The Boxer Rebellion (acoustic) are also set to performing, along with there being DJ sets from Jack Savage (Friendly Fires) and Concrete Disco.
The show is being put on with the help of Bakery Boy Music, run by Pearse Grady. Speaking about the benefit gig, he said: “In light of what happened last week at Grenfell, we not only realised the need to help these people who have been made homeless, but also the people who are permanently homeless.”
Tickets will go on sale on 20th June here.
