BBC Introducing confirms Glastonbury 2014 line-up
George Ezra, SOAK and Glass Animals are all set to appear at this year’s event.
BBC Introducing has confirmed the list of acts set to play this year’s Glastonbury Festival, with exciting names SOAK and George Ezra (pictured) leading the way.
With the festival running from 27th-29th June, on the Friday, Beaty Heart appear alongside Violet Skies and Izzy Bizu.
Saturday 28th sees George Ezra headlining, with Lake District duo Aquilo and the CHVRCHES-approved SOAK also set to play.
SOAK (see ‘Blud’ below), is a Derry based, 17 year old songwriter signed to CHVRCHES’ imprint Goodbye Records. Bridie Monds-Watson released her debut ‘Blud’ EP earlier this year.
New London band Gengahr just finished a tour with Wolf Alice and Superfood - they also play on the 28th.
On the closing night, Marmozets headline, while Oxford group Glass Animals and the very promising Lapsley make an appearance.
Special guests are yet to be announced. Last year’s Introducing stage saw surprise appearances from HAIM and The xx.
