Beabadoobee channels Pavement on new slacker-pop gem ‘I Wish I Was Stephen Malkmus’
Another cut of the finest fuzz from Bea Kristi.
Beabadoobee has shared her new single ‘I Wish I Was Stephen Malkmus’, a laid-back, fuzzy pop track that evokes the music of the titular Pavement frontman.
It’s the second taste of her forthcoming EP ‘Space Cadet’, out on 18th October, and follows last month’s ‘She Plays Bass’.
Her last EP release was the acclaimed ‘Loveworm’, which appeared in Spring.
The musician, signed to the much-acclaimed Dirty Hit Entertainment label, plays a free gig tonight (19th September) at The Grace in Islington, only her third headline show.
