Beirut announces ‘No No No’ album, shares title-track

Zach Condon has also announced a date at London’s Brixton Academy.

Zach Condon aka Beirut has returned with details of a new album.

‘No No No’ is released on 11th September via 4AD, and it’s the result of Condon’s recovery from extreme exhaustion, which he experienced in the tailend of 2013.

After being forced to cancel a tour, he ended up moving to Turkey with a new girlfriend and following a divorce, before heading back to New York to record ‘No No No’. The follow-up to ‘The Rip Tide’ is being led by a title-track, which sees Condon’s traditionally sweeping songwriting find a new route, with gorgeous synths leading the way.

Alongside the album announcement, Beirut has announced world tour dates. He’ll play London’s Brixton Academy on 24th September.
