Belle and Sebastian confirm new album ‘Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance’
Scots are releasing their new record in January 2015. Watch a trailer.

Belle and Sebastian have confirmed plans to release their new album, ‘Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance’.
Four years on from 2010’s ‘Write About Love’, Stuart Murdoch and co.’s new record is out 19th January 2015 via Matador Records.
Ben H. Allen III (who the band describe as a “hip-hop producer” in a new trailer) is at the desk - previously credits include Animal Collective and Gnarls Barkley.
A new album trailer (below) contains snippets of new music, featuring the mantra “It’s settled by the game.” The trailer also links together documentary-style accounts of how the album was made, with members claiming they spent “ten to twelve hours a day” in the studio when putting together the record.
Belle and Sebastian have also expended their touring schedule. See below.
