Bellevue Days are the first act for Jäger Curtain Call round two

The Croydon quartet will be playing at the Queen of Hoxton alongside a guest headliner on 5th October.

As we announced last week, the Jäger Curtain Call is back this autumn and it’ll be giving three new bands the opportunity to head into the studio, record a new track and play a live show. Bellevue Days are the first of those acts.

You can be one of the best new bands around, but there are hundreds of hurdles to jump when it comes to taking any next steps. Earlier this year, DIY teamed up with Jägermeister for the project, to lend a hand to bands in that exact spot. A project which aims to give artists a bit of a leg up at the most crucial point in their career, everything - from recording a track to playing live – all happens within the creative hub that is Shoreditch’s iconic Curtain Road.

Now it’s back for a second run, with another three bands invited into the studio and onto the stage. First up are Croydon four-piece Bellevue Days who have already gone into Strongrooms Studio to record a brand new track. Now they’re heading down the road to the Queen of Hoxton to play alongside a guest headliner on 5th October. Tickets are on sale now.

“We thought that getting a song done in a day would be next to impossible,” the band’s Alan Smith revealed, when we spoke to him after the band had spent the day in Strongrooms Studio, “but we seemed to manage it alright actually. Our producer Steph was honest and efficient, and helped the process go smoothly. All in all it was a good day for sure.
