Ben Howard and Bombay Bicycle Club to headline new London festival, Citadel
East London fest takes place at Victoria Park this July.
Ben Howard and Bombay Bicycle Club have been confirmed for a new East London festival, Citadel, taking place 19th July in Victoria Park.
The brand new event has been arranged by Wilderness, Communion, Superfly, Soundcrash and Time Out, with more acts set to be announced.
Alongside music, the festival is planning to host: “Host some of the city’s gastronomic leaders crafting a series of long table Sunday dining experiences whilst Secret Productions’ Sunday Papers Live team will host a tent of captivating literary talks, spoken word and debates.”
This is Bombay Bicycle Club’s only London performance of 2015, their last being a sold out show at Earls Court (the venue’s final event). “We’re really looking forward to hosting a day of brilliant music (and hopefully sunshine!) with our friend Ben Howard,” said guitarists Jamie MacColl.
