Bombay Bicycle Club to return to The Camden Assembly and Nambucca for tiny 2026 London shows
They’re heading back to their grassroots beginnings in celebration of 20 years as a band.
Bombay Bicycle Club have announced a handful of very special underplays in London, set to take place at The Camden Assembly and Nambucca - two independent venues they played back when it all began - later this month.
Celebrating two whole decades as a band, the indie stalwarts are returning to the rooms they first played as teenagers to perform sets made up exclusively of early EP tracks, singles, and MySpace demos. They’ll act as unique warm up shows for this summer’s LIDO Festival, where Bombay will headline a stacked bill of indie faves - including Metronomy, Billie Marten, Lucy Rose and more - on 14th June.
What’s more, Bombay will be letting down the ladder behind them as they do it, too: support for each underplay will come courtesy of two bands aged under 18, Tight Lines and Call Me Animal, who won a virtual ‘battle of the bands’ competition that launched last year.
Tickets for each of these intimate gigs will be available via prize draw, with proceeds going to children’s music education charity Universal Music UK Sound Foundation. Entry to the draw is priced at £10, which will give two tickets to those who are selected.
Bombay Bicycle Club’s March 2026 shows will take place at The Camden Assembly on 13th and 14th March (deadline for entry is 12pm on Monday 9th) and at Nambucca on 20th and 21st March (deadline for entry is 12pm on Monday 16th). Enter the prize draw for tickets here.
