LIDO Festival forced to cancel CMAT & Bombay Bicycle Club shows, while rescheduling Maribou State headliner
The Victoria Park event will no longer take place this June in order “to protect park ground conditions”.

LIDO Festival have been forced to cancel two of their upcoming events, while rescheduling the third show until August, in order to “protect ground conditions” at their Victoria Park location.
The festival confirmed yesterday (Thursday 9th August) that their Maribou State show will be rescheduled to Monday 31st August - following their activity for this year’s All Points East festivals - but that sadly, their headline shows with both CMAT and Bombay Bicycle Club could not be rescheduled due to booking conflicts. All ticket-holders for the latter events will be eligible for a full refund.
The decision comes after last summer’s All Points East festivals took place in the midst of a summer drought which caused “well‑reported dust issues”, and - despite promoter AEG’s efforts in reseeding and improving the park’s ground conditions since then - they have now been advised that further recovery time would be helpful to restore the ground.
Speaking in a statement, the festival have said the below.
