BENEE unveils the video for ‘Happen To Me’

Following the release of her debut album ‘Hey u x’ in November last year, New Zealand’s BENEE is now sharing the video for album gem ‘Happen To Me’.

A gothic new visual depicting a Last Supper-style feast, BENEE says, “Stoked to be sharing this music video with everyone! I filmed it with a bunch of mates, and it was the coolest set! Hope you love it as much as I do ❤️”

Speaking to us for our Class of 2021 issue, she said of the track, “It’s about my anxiety and I was feeling pretty low at the time when I wrote it. I think it’s very important to talk about mental health, and with that one I was pretty honest in the lyrics.”
