Watch: Benjamin Francis Leftwich keeps his touch delicate in the ‘Tilikum’ video

After returning from the ether with details of a long-awaited second album earlier this year, Benjamin Francis Leftwich has shared a new video for ‘Tilikum’, its lead track.

The delicate touch of ‘Tilikum’ finds fitting partnership in the clip, Leftwich himself exploring the stunning wilderness of Dartmoor’s farthest reaches. “I really wanted to film something special in a really desolate but beautiful part of the world to convey the sense of loneliness and desperation vs the future and hope that I feel in the song,” Ben explains. Written in the wake of Ben losing his father a few years ago, it’s steeped in emotion.

Watch the ‘Tilikum’ video below - it’s taken from ‘After The Rain’, Benjamin’s second full-length, due for release via Dirty Hit on August 19th. Before that though, he’s got this bloody massive tour to contend with:
