Best Coast & Iggy Pop Team Up For True Blood Track

Best Coast and Iggy Pop are teaming up for a brand new song, to be featured on a forthcoming episode of True Blood.

The HBO show will include the new track, titled ‘Let’s Boot and Rally’, on their 8th July episode, after the track has been premiered on American radio station KCRW earlier in the week, on the 5th July.

Speaking of the collaboration, Best Coast’s Bethany Consentiny says: ‘What an honor to get to sing with a legend, and for such a fantastic show. What’s up Iggy!”

While Mr Pop himself went for the little less innocent comment of, “I’ve always liked to bite. I guess this makes me a singing vampire, does this mean I have a license to suck? Hi Bethany…”

In other news, Best Coast recently unveiled their cover of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rhiannon’, whilst Iggy Pop & The Stooges are all set to play this year’s Hard Rock Calling at Hyde Park.
