Biffy Clyro announce tiny London Troxy show
The Relentless Energy Drink gig takes place in November.
It’s day of the small shows for festival headlining mega bands. First Foo Fighters announce a tiny Brighton gig, now Biffy Clyro reveal they’ll be playing London’s Troxy in November.
The 2,500 capacity date is relatively intimate for a band who these days find themselves topping festival bills and playing to arenas. The Relentless Energy Drink gig takes place on 22nd November with Zane Lowe both curating and DJing on the night. More bands will be announced over the next two months.
Speaking about the one-off gig, the band said: “We are excited to be playing Relentless Live, especially as all ticket money goes to supporting the Relentless emerging talent initiative that aims to help artists breakthrough.”
In addition to Biffy Clyro and Zane Lowe, one band will win the chance to perform at the event as part of the Relentless Energy Drink Here to be Heard competition. Here to be Heard DJ winner, Luke Hassan, will also be performing on the night after a hugely successful set on the Relentless Stage at Leeds Festival.
Tickets go on sale via the Relentless Energy Drink App from 10am 10th September 2014 and on general sale on 12th September 2014.
