Björk shares emails with philosopher Timothy Morton from upcoming book ‘Björk Archives

The forthcoming title is associated with the recent MoMA ‘Björk’ retrospective.

Björk has shared a series of emails between her and philosopher Timothy Morton that will make up part of a forthcoming book about the artist.

The personal emails between Björk and Morton will be compiled as Thames & Hudson’s forthcoming title ‘Björk Archives’, which is associated to the Museum of Modern Art’s recent Björk retrospective in New York City.

Speaking about the correspondence with Morton, Björk has released the following statement:

“last year i reached out to the philosopher timothy morton to see if he would be interested to start a dialogue with me, to search for a definition of me and my friends’ stance in this world, which i felt his writing came very close to already. of course i’m still searching but this email chat of ours got pretty close and we shared a couple of coordinates trying to define what “ism” a pop musician from iceland would be ….. “

Head to Dazed to read the emails and watch the video for ‘Stonemilker’ below. Björk’s latest album ‘Vulnicura’ is out now.
