Black Country, New Road unveil next ‘Forever Howlong’ preview ‘Happy Birthday’
They’ve shared a stop-motion video to go with it, too.

Black Country, New Road are back with ‘Happy Birthday’ - the second track to be lifted from their anticipated third album ‘Forever Howlong’ (due out on 4th April via Ninja Tune) following January comeback single ‘Besties’.
In fact, this new number is a follow-on from its predecessor in more ways than you might expect - as vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Tyler Hyde explains: “When I wrote ‘Happy Birthday’ I had Georgia’s song ‘Besties’ in my head while I was writing it. Therefore, the structure of it is heavily influenced by it.”
What’s more, it also lands accompanied by a sweetly emotive stop-motion video (directed by Lesley-Anne Rose), as well as the news that BC,NR are hitting the road to play ‘Forever Howlong’ in full for a run of intimate April dates. Tickets go on sale at 10am this Thursday, 6th March here - in the meantime, you can check out the visualiser and find out where to catch the band live this year below.
