Black Country, New Road announce third album ‘Forever Howlong’
It’s their first studio album since the departure of former vocalist Isaac Wood.

Black Country, New Road are back - and they’ve returned with news of a new album, a new song, and a UK/EU headline tour. Phew!
The much anticipated follow-up to 2022’s ‘Ants From Up There’ (and 2023 live album ‘Live At Bush Hall’), third studio LP ‘Forever Howlong’ is set for release on 4th April via Ninja Tune. It sees the band shapeshift once again, with vocals and primary songwriting duties this time divided between Tyler Hyde, Georgia Ellery, and May Kershaw (following the departure of former vocalist Isaac Wood, also in 2022).
“It created a real through line for the album, having three girls singing,” Georgia - also one half of Jockstrap - has said. “It’s definitely very different to ‘Ants From Up There’, because of the female perspective - and the music we’ve made also compliments that.”
BC,NR have ushered in their new era with the release of lead single ‘Besties’ - a typically unpredictable, musically full number that has Georgia herself take the lead. The official video for ‘Besties’ - directed by the award winning Rianne White - is due to drop in a few hours, so watch this space!
In the meantime, you can find out more about BC,NR’s newly-announced tour dates below the player.
Having spent 2024 road-testing material from ‘Forever Howlong’ on stages across the US - as well as in festival fields around the UK - BC,NR will be giving their new album its live debut proper this Autumn for a run of UK and European shows that concludes in epic fashion at London’s beloved Brixton Academy on Halloween night.
Tickets will go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday 7th February; check out the band’s full live schedule below.
