Exclusive: Blissfields Festival Announces 2013 Headliners

Blissfields festival has today announced that their 2013 headliners will be Bastille and Mystery Jets, DIY can exclusively reveal. The two bands will be following in the footsteps of the likes of Super Furry Animals, Laura Marling and Patrick Wolf.

‘We’re massively excited about our first ever headline slot at a festival,’ Bastille’s Dan Smith told us. ‘Particularly because we love Blissfields so much, and because they’ve been so supportive to us over the last couple of years.’

Other acts playing the event - which will take place from 5th - 7th July at Vicarage Farm in Hampshire - include Post War Years, Matt Corby, Public Service Broadcasting, Clean Bandit and Beans On Toast.

Tickets are on sale now, pick them up from blissfields.co.uk/tickets.

Bastille are gearing up to release their debut album, the long-awaited ‘Bad Blood’, due on 4th March. They’re currently on the road as main support for Two Door Cinema Club, with their own dates planned for March.
