Bloc Party Confirm October Touring Plans

Bloc Party are readying the release of their fourth album (…’Four’, if you didn’t already know) and have a handful of UK dates already planned.

However! If you’re not quite managing to catch them at one of their three rather intimate shows, they have now revealed a few more tour dates, scheduled for October.

The band will play the following shows.

13 Leeds O2 Academy
14 Glasgow O2 Academy
15 Birmingham O2 Academy
17 Southampton Guildhall
18 Bristol O2 Academy
19 Manchester, WHP
20 Cambridge, Corn Exchange

In the meantime, Bloc Party have offered fans an opportunity to see the band perform a rehearsal for their upcoming tour, which will take place on tonight (Monday 18th) at ‘a legendary London venue.’ The competition closed on Friday.

The band are also set for the following summer run in support of their forthcoming new album - due 20th August via Frenchkiss - and their dates are:
