Bloc Party to return with new single next week
Kele Okereke and co. are sharing the first taste of their fifth album.

Next Monday (5th October), Bloc Party are set to officially return with a brand new single.
The first take from their as-yet-untitled fifth album is set to air on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show, as a Hottest Record.
Since the release of their ‘Four’ LP, Bloc Party have introduced new members. Frontman Kele Okereke and guitarist Russell Lisack remain, with drummer Matt Tong and bassist Gordon Moakes leaving the band. They’re now joined by Justin Harris and Louise Bartle. The new line-up have a handful of shows under their belt, having played Los Angeles’ FYF Fest and two intimate nights at Pomona’s The Glass House.
5th October will also see Bloc Party playing a Live at Maida Vale show for BBC Radio 6 Music.
