Bloc Party To Stream New York Show Live Online
The band will be playing in support of their new album ‘Four’, due later this month via Frenchkiss Records.
Bloc Party have announced - via the video above - that they will stream their forthcoming New York gig online. The performance will air at 2:30am UK time on 9th August, and there will be an interactive live chat during it.
‘Hello the internet,’ they say. ‘We’re Bloc Party. YouTube is going to be streaming our gig on the 8th August at Terminal 5, New York City. On the Bowery Presents YouTube channel, and you can watch that on YouTube.com/bowerypresents. Byyyyyyee.’
The band will be playing in support of their new album ‘Four’, due on 20th August via Frenchkiss Records. The follow-up to 2008’s ‘Intimacy’, it was written and mixed in New York, and produced by the man behind the likes of Death Cab For Cutie, The Mars Volta, At The Drive-In, Alex Newport.
Following their dates in the States, the band will be playing a tour of the UK this October. Kicking off in Newcastle, they’ll go on to visit:
